on the issues involved.

We do not bill on an hourly rate which allows the client

Family law cases are generally done on a retainer bases.
That is, the client pays a retainer in advance which
the attorney bills against per her hourly rate. If the
attorney bills through the entire amount prior to completion,
an additional retainer is requested. Any unused portion
of the retainer will be returned to the client once the
litigation is completed. Some simple matters like uncontested
divorces are usually done on a flat rate basis.
Personal Injury cases are generally done on a contingency
fee basis. The client does not pay up front and only
pays if the attorney wins or settles the case. The attorney’s
fees are deducted from the client’s portion.
What is Client First Pricing?
Client First Pricing is a unique
pricing system that we utilize in personal injury cases
designed to save clients money. With most firms, clients
are expected to pay 33% to 45% of the final amount
recovered to their attorney regardless of the amount
of time the case required for completion.
The Client First Pricing system is
a sliding scale based on the amount of time the case
requires for resolution. For example, if the matter is
resolved 90 days from the date of the signing of the
contract, the client’s fee will only be 15%.
